Where the %^&#%*& has everyone been? Everyone disappears, the mall is silent, then destroyed, then BAM everyone's crawling out of the &%&%^#&*^& proverbial woodwork. It's a good thing I left the mall when I did.
 For those of you wondering, I have felt this type of inclement... weather before and felt the pain of being burnt. I am currently outside the mall traveling to find Capt. Steiner to help him with his recovery operations.

Cid sits in the security booth watching the screens. He looks in the parking lot grid and notes Sephiroth leaving.
"That's odd... Maybe he forgot something. It's possible. Now where did I see those Choques at...".

   Ultros is back... I'm not sure if he is a security risk or not yet but with the way things are going, he probably isn't. Anyways, it's the lack of anything going on that has me on edge. Perhaps I need to look deeper at what's going on outside the mall. I'm sure something will happen eventually. It always does

   The crowds of last month have morphed into a different beast. The previous beast was fierce, violent, irritable, and rushed. The new beast is more friendly but not always happy. Perhaps the store return policies are not to their liking. Perhaps the customers are not always right. Regardless, we must remain vigilant. We may be in a new year but that seldom means positive change.

     The mall has been so busy for the last two weeks that I've barely had time to think. Some of the customers have not been pleased with the sales and such and our basement holding cells have come close to overflow several times. There was a mini riot at Pretty Good Records yesterday. Apparently Faris finally ran out of whatever people were looking for. If problems continue we'll have to find somewhere else to put some of these customers turned savages.

 Mall is quiet... which means it's probably safe... which means there's something going on... which means... you get the picture. I patrol the silent corridors. No one speaks... I think NORG might be dead... or asleep... or not. Even Don Corneo's blathering has stopped...

  Excuse me but I just saw someone steal a shopping cart... We have shopping carts in the mall? I must investigate!

   So, as per NORG's dictum, I have two duties this week: patrolling the mall for safety and giving out free things. Problem is, as a security unit, we do not really have any intrinsic items that can be parted with for safety reasons and the only thing we sell is mall wide protection and that without preference or bias for one business or patron or another unless there is a definite threat from one or another. Therefore, we at Pluto Security have chosen to give out Pluto Security Deputy Badges. We have had these for a while and considered using them at a great point of chaos. Please note that these badges have no inherent power in terms of name or responsibility and that we will only be giving them to children so as to avoid adult vigiantes acting in our name.

 As soon as Shera and I got back from our spelunking trip to the Northern Crater I knew something was wrong. There was a rule sheet the size of Heideger's gut attached to our apartment door and when I got to the mall to see what was up the rules had changed but something didn't feel right. People are looking at me weirdly and I'm doing the same... Something suspicious is happening....

    Pluto Security would like to give out a couple pointers for water safety here at the mall for employees. These are merely suggestions but if followed, could lead to a safer, slightly saner time while this rogue cloud cries upon us in the mall.
   
   --- When traversing the  corridors and  stores wear either rain boots or sandals. Certain sneakers and some dress shoes will not hold water very well, which can bring about health problems in the feet area like warts and other unwanted fungal infections.
 
   --- For those of you who may be considering using an electric heat source to dry up some of the water, do not let it come in contact with the water. This could lead to an electric fire, and that is not a good thing. Even with all of this water, major damage and loss of life could still occur.

   --- Speaking of fires, we have recently discovered that the sprinkler system is not attached to a water source. We look to fix this problem in the very near future.

   --- For those of you on the first floor, please ensure that the doors to the outside of the mall are open during business hours. This will allow some of the water to leave and go to the parking lot. Also, keep your Emergency Exit doors open enough to stream out that way as well. Please keep as much of your merchandise above the water level as well, unless the items are okay being consistently wet.
